#The Doctor says in this episode ”I believe in her” #as in ”I believe in her proactivity and in her ability to take care of things” #And surely he’s filled his head full of confident bluster about the fact that Rose is alive #she’s on that rocket-ship #BUT HE DOESN’T ACTUALLY KNOW #He has no idea what happened on the Sanctuary base after he went into the center of the planet #No idea how bad things got with the Ood after he left #And so as relieved as Rose is in this scene #I can only imagine the Doctor’s equally as ecstatic to hear her voice filter through his intercom #and we don’t see him in that moment #but in m y head he’s doing a triumphant air-punch #and high-fiving the TARDIS console (via gallifreyburning)
